Established in 2018, the owner, operator and soul instructor of Between the Ears Riding Lessons, is dedicated to providing some of the best courses to Snohomish County. Lessons are a way to educated and instill a love and respect for horses in anyone. Horses can be a reflection of our emotions, and can sometimes be our best friend and therapist. Through the human animal bond we allow ourselves to learn more about connection to people and horses. Between the Ears Riding Lessons provides a significant range of different stand alone classes and long term courses that allow the public to interact with horses. We offer services to a broad spectrum of students of any age and ability. Whether the student has never been around a horse before or has been riding their whole lives Between the Ears Riding Lessons will strive to provide reputable knowledge.

 

Ruah is a recent graduate with a bachelor's in Anthrozoology and Psychology. Anthrozoology is the human animal bond and is a new field of animal sciences. In addition to riding lessons, she is also earning her master's degree in Social Work. Ruah has been teaching lessons since 2018 and originates from Montana. Her love of horses and dedication to teaching other horse lovers comes from owning and riding horses from the young age of six.

Weather depending, each class will cater to the time of year and ability to ride as a result. 

 

Liability Policy (Youth and Adults)

Public/Liability Insurance is held by the instructor, owner, and operator of this program. All students will be required to sign a waiver of liability as well as wear a helmet at all times when mounted. In addition all activities on the property and around horses will be supervised. Students and guardians are encouraged to ask for help in the event of an accident or safety issue.

 

Cancellation Policy (Events and Classes)
